2007 Essay Contest Rules
Homeschoolers for Life is announcing the second annual Homeschoolers Pro-
Life Essay Contest. Homeschooled students between the ages of 8 and 17 are

December 15, 2007 and winners will be announced on Monday, January 22,
2007.
Senior Writers
Ages 15 to 17
Because children participating in the senior essay category are close to the legal
voting age, it is our hope that this year’s essay contest topic will help them
formulate and cement their ideas as they become ready to exercise their voting
privilege for the first time.
“When presented with a field of imperfect candidates, what factors, moral and
political, should prolifers take into consideration before voting in order to not
violate their consciences?”
Stake out a position and defend it in an original essay between 900 and 1200
words in length.
