Ok, so you're a prolife homeschooling familiy, what can you do to help?   The most important thing is to educate your children about the truth about life, conception and abortion and to encourage them to become politically active.  The following are just a few ideas to encourage the prolife cause within your family and in your community.  If you have some ideas you'd like to share with other homeschoolers, please email us at admin@homeschoolersforlife.com. Pray together as a family for the protection of all babies and their mothers. Attend the Right to Life March on January 23 as a family. Have older children write letters to the editor of your local newspaper and state and federal legislators on prolife issues.  This is a good way to practice persuasive writing skills! Get your church involved by giving a church-wide baby shower to support your local crisis pregnancy center. Create a "prolife corner" section in your church bulletin. Create a prolife club such as the one at  s15.invisionfree.com/homeschool_group. Begin a "spiritual adoption" program at your church: Members of the congregation promise to pray everyday for a baby in danger of being aborted.  You can make a simple prayer card which they sign and return to you.  At the end of the nine months, the prayer warriors are invited to bring a baby gift for their spiritually adopted child.  All gifts are donated to your local cpc. Volunteer to help out at a cpc. Pray outside abortion clinics with other prolifers. Pass this website around to other homeschoolers. Volunteer to speak at local homeschooling conferences. Fight pornography in your area.  Pornography fuels abortion and disrespect for the human person. Take a trip with Crossroads as a family.
